The silEnT Mod Team presents the new 0.4.0 version of silEnT Mod for Enemy Territory.

New main features in silEnT 0.4.0 are:

[ul]
[li] New User Interface with 2 themes. Themes can be switched with “ui_theme” cvar {1,2}
[/li][li] Widescreen support.
[/li][li] New front end user interface for private message system.
[/li][li] 3rd person view for knife throw animations.
[/li][li] db improvements.
[/li][li] Enhanced Hardware Based Identification system. g_identOptions 16. The server will automatically create a new ban for a player that is circumventing old ban and the client identification catches it.
[/li][li] Subnet ban feature to replace pb_sv_banmask.
[/li][li] Performance enhancements.
[/li][li] Ban numbers are printed in the outputs of !userinfo, !userlist and !usersearch commands, if the player is banned.
[/li][/ul]

[li] Added: tripmines markers on the command map.
[/li][li] Added: new tripmine wire shaders.
[/li][li] Added: tripmines can be now spotted by coverts to be marked on the command map.

[/li][li] Added: hint for tripmine placement (hint is displayed when tripmine can be attached to the pointed place)
[/li][li] Added: new cvar: cg_themedCMap {0,1}, which activates/deactivates themed command map frame
[/li][li] Added: New shrubbot flag ‘#’. Players or levels with this flag are not allowed to call votes. Voting is automatically denied from players without PB GUIDs. Do note, it does not require the punkbuster to be enabled on the server for a player to have a PB GUID.

this is so sad. this mod even got less innovative ideas then the chaos mod. just the same approach to modding. it is just etpub dudes, can you please stop pushing your friends mods and make it appear that this is great work. it is a huge pain for real developers like me to see how you can sell farts. what exactly does this mod have, major features ? tripmines ? LOL

I can see that people related to the chaos mod always want to gain some attention by posting in other mods threads. And they do it always in “their” style. We don’t fight with you, we even shared some knowledge with you when you asked. Peace man :slight_smile: Oh, wait, google bot has just noticed this chaos mod post here, so you win. I don’t see any problem with this however. Keep up your work. Chaos mod will surely gain some attention if people find it good. Good luck.

ignoring the fact that your delivery sucks, i typically agree with your messages aaa4. but in this case you are totally off base. etpub development stopped long ago, so to me it is nice to have a competent development team actively improving and adding to that code base.

Guys… really? You are putting not only Silencer down here with those posts, but a WHOLE community of people that are helping out with this mod. Chaos is… where again? On one server… as of a week or two ago. And that is a mix of all the mods together… so what exact idea was JUST yours? lol. Silencer, great work! Keep it up man! It’s one of my favorite mods! See you on my silent server on Saturday? doing a promotional event for our clan and the silent mod!

Last time I checked ETpub forums where getting spammed by spambots and they closed their forums months ago. I don’t see any updates in their svn either since a while. I also had tried to contact calzonzin that I can help with ETPub forums but he decided to shut down forums. There are couple of topics about it on SD forums too.

One of the reasons we started general modding forums, so that modders can use tracker, download and forum for their mod development. Any coder/mod development team can request for above things on our forums and we can add their sections.
