Sign-in issue

Hola amigos,

So apparently a major group of people cannot sign in to the client or query the master server. It started suddenly and resolved itself for some, but not for everyone. Several people reported verifying game cache fixed the issue for them, but most still cannot log in to the client. DNS cache flushing didn’t help.

Any info on this? Is there a routing failure somewhere in Europe?

Hey, cup begins under 2 hours and I already know that some of the players who are involved in the cup cannot play ! Give us information.

It appears to be affecting 3/5 of our players as well. Germany and Finland specifically. Also, from other threads, players from croatia, france and canada are locked out as well.

Edit: Managed to get in with a dutch VPN, however, still can’t sign in using a raw connection.

I managed to contact a developer, he will look into it, hopefully this is resolved soon:)

Dont think this has anything to do with Nexon/SD, internettrafficreport.com shows that most of the affected countries are suffering from complete routing death. http://www.internettrafficreport.com/europe.htm

So that is what I thought it is, amazing.

Did not know about that, but I thought at least having devs know about the issue would be a start

Yea its good that they know I guess but it’s not like they can do anything about it unless its a coincedence that nexon/sd servers pooped at the same time as half the EU internet xD

They could potentially move the master servers to another location, but then the question is, how to query everybody on which locations they can reach and which they can’t, and then to find a location reachable for everyone.
