Side-by-side error when starting server

Hello all,

I have just installed brink a dedicated server and i am unable to start the server. When i attempt to open the brink.exe file it gives me a side-by-side config error. Normally this is caused by having an incorrect version of vc++. I currently have 2008 redist x64 version on the server. It appears however when you do a stack trace it is looking for the x86 version of vc++. The question is, Do i need to use 2008 x86 version of vc++ or can i attempt to use 2010 x86 version of vc++ to get this server running on the box.

I have installed brink on many x86 os for testing and they all seem to work just fine. It only appears to be an issue with x64 versions of windows and not having x86 versions of vc++

You’ll need to install the x86 2008 redistributables for Brink to run.
