Shuffle should not be allowed mid round.

It happens time and time again. People are losing a stopwatch round on offence. first half. And the shuffle votes goes trough. Boom! the entire team that just spent 14:59 minutes defending. Gets to enjoy a match they lost because they’ve defended too well.

If a shuffle votes gets passed it should be done at the beginning of a new match.
To counteract the stomps that may happen. Allow a team to just concede. Give the offending team a nice exp and credits boost to make it not suck for them and the issue is solved

Issue was raised recently.

And addressed…

I don’t think they should be allowed period. Just have auto shuffles based on how many players there are per team, and get rid of shuffle votes.

It is so easy to call when a game needs to be shuffle for me. I don’t remember a single occasion where I thought “Yeah, this game is going to suck” and was proven otherwise. But people always go “It’s not long enough into the round yet to be sure”.
Until they go “it’s too close to round end now for a shuffle”

I’ve seen games get turned with 2 minutes left on the clock. Spoilers: If you beat an obj the timer gets extended.

Sure there’s crybabies who will vote for a shuffle just because they’re not stomping the enemy team, but it’s far more common that people will just not shuffle even if there’s clearly no chance for one team.

Really, people are too stupid to know what’s correct. Half the time they’re too stupid to play the game properly, how can you expect them to make smart calls about the game, if they don’t even have the situational awareness to play on the entire map at the same time, as opposed to their one room and whatever they can see 90° infront of them.
