… my wife likes Razer too …

… she wants to buy the RAZER MARAUDER Starcraft, looks nice, but I have no idea how the keys are … she has a RAZER DEATH ADDER Mouse atm …

… I only bought the X6, because I can de-attach / swap the number block, whats useful if you have not much space on your desk … the G13 is more like a dust catcher … I mostly use it only to show my stats (fraps) or time / date … I think I would use it more if you could use it with your right hand as mouse replacement … as I’m not so flexible in my left hand as a right-handed person, I’m to slow if I use it for fast paced shooter games … maybe luck of training or I’m getting to old …

… I use a mouse pad from the “steelseries” (StarCraft-II) … I like it, because it’s quite large and flexible … was not even expensive …

Me too, having numpad on the left side is very useful, as are the 3 pages you can scroll between. With 1 press of a button you have all your macro’s remapped and disabled windows key etc, which comes in handy in many different applications, not just games.

(TONSCHUH) #8

… yes, you’re right … at the beginning I thought I would miss the little legs to put it up a bit, but even if you work with office as an example, it’s pretty good to type with … would be only nice to have some different back-light colors …

(sym) #9

mouse: razer diamondback
pad: puretrak talent
the rest is random

You should get a mousepad, qpad = £10, got my goliathus for £15, tons of other mats available at very decent prices. It will make a huge differance in your aim, suprisingly so.

Not going to mention the steering wheel that’s sitting in the corner like a red-headed step-child?

(DarkangelUK) #13

Wow, nice. You must really love gaming

Monitor: LG flatron w2453v
Mouse: Mx518
Keyboard: G11
Mousepad: Fatal1ty Fatpad
Sound: Logitech Z10 speakers, no headset
Wrist: A clean sock with the top cut off

(StillBatusBrad) #16

Hmm…gadgets when playing Brink, eh?

Benson & Hedges
Ashtray
Fridge
Several dozen bottles of Sam Adams Boston Lager
EarForces Headphones (- though these don’t work as well with Brink as the rest of the list, sadly!)

(riptide) #17

Mouse: Logitech g500
Mousepad: Razer Goliathus Speed
Keyboard: Razer Black Widow
Headphones: Sennheiser hd 595’s
Mic: Zalman Clip-on
Monitors: ViewSonic VX2268WM and a Acer GD235HZ both are 120hz lcds.

I normally only game on the Viewsonic though unless it’s single player. I prefer a native 1680x1050 for Multiplayer.

(Lookinglass) #18

An Xbox controller, because I’m ex-PC
A bottle of Pimms, to wash down my fail
And an astronaut helmet so no one can hear my rage quits…
Ahh Brink, how great you are!

… unfortunately I have to smoke outside, but it’s sometimes good to cool down after a hard fight … I always crave for plenty of chocolate bars and pepsi …

We have a winner

@Apoc: I have a big fake-leather black surface over my desk which works surprisingly well, I find it smoother and more precise than some of the mousepads I tried. Guess it’s not entirely true what I said.
