It would be nice if the character class (e.g. Light Commando) was displayed along with the other details when browsing the Recruits category of the store. (If it’s there already I’m unable to find it.)

Hey Hihaj.
It is not displayed itself but if you look closely it is nearly to detect.
you may choose- search on the character model- they OFTEN have a symbol on their cloth ( + , bullet, tool-thing ,mask)
OR take a look at the skill… ALL Medic have “Medkit” , ALL Agents have “Ghost” , ALL Engis have “Tool Kit” , ALL Soldiers have “Support Fire”.
I do NOT know what you mean with Light Commando, i only found it on easy challenges (light fight, going commando) … if you mean Light soldiers --> the Soldiers that need 1 energy for walking -> just look for the energy…
all “ligh” ( 1 for walking) have 12 Energy and 200 health
all “mid” (2 for walking) have 14 energy and 250 health
all “heavy” (3 for walking) have 16 energy and 300 health.
