After watching the ESL matches this past week I thought it would be cool if there was an instant replay feature for shoutcasting. Sometimes a player makes an awesome shot and it happens so fast that you miss it.
Obviously when the youtube vid comes out a few days later you just just replay to your heart’s content, but it would be a cool feature nonetheless.
Would absolutely love this as well. That’d certainly be a challenge to implement, and we need to develop some of the slightly more basic elements first, but I think quite a few people here’d like to see that further down the line.
Personally I would say that instant replay only really works when you have a lot of downtime (between rounds) but if you wanted INSTANT REPLAY then the matches would really need to be on a Delay to allow the system to ensure nothing even more interesting is not happening when the replay is happening >.<
