You can essentially already do this by pressing K to commit suicide before the next wave spawns and selecting your merc then. By the time you run all the way back to spawn that wave timer has probably already passed.

Not to mention it would probably take a bit of effort to implement and I would rather not see them divert their resources to something with not only a significantly low priority, but that won’t actually change anything about the game. It simply is such a low low impact ‘feature’.

Sorry but I don’t think this will go good.
I mean the only good place I would see being able to change your merc is at ammo pack stations. Other then that I don’t think this is a good idea.

I believe not being able to change your merc unless you die is a strategical advantage for some.
