Should Splash Damage add a mercenary squad loadout?

What I mean by that is being able to assemble your squads before joining a match, and while in the lobby you don’t pick individual mercenaries, but one of your premade squads.

I find it tricky sometimes to be able to adjust my squad on the fly in public servers to adapt to the rest of the team and their mercenary choices. You have to click on change, then change merc, click on the merc you want, scroll through the loadout cards to finally confirm your pick. It’s cumbersome and unnecessary.

Perhaps others don’t have this problem, but I have a lot of loadout cards. This will eliminate having to navigate through the mercs every match.

One for Underground, one for Chapel, one sh*ts and giggles squad (I’m looking at you, Phantom, Thunder, and Redeye)…

Of course I want to make premade loadouts.

Is this optional?

Also, it could be cumbersome to have a big fat squad interface next to the mercs. I’d say it’s better if SD sorted by most used cards by default rather than have a big fat squad.

I also think that players should be able to have two of the same merc in their squad in the first place. I know SD wants diversity, but this could make missions focusing on individual mercs easier, as instead of having to get game mode xp that I may not obtain at all with Bushwacker, I could instead load up with two Bushwacker cards and get killing xp to finish his missions.

Then again, this also could be a hindrance, but hey.

This is just what I had in mind, I just called it ‘deck’ of chosen mercs, but premade squards is a very fine description!

This would be great - and while this is an advanved feature, it should be ‘hidded’ behind a button of ‘change squard’ or so, as not to confuse newcomers to the game.

Honestly I don’t know why this isnt a thing already. The crew I would take for Underground is vastly different then what I would take for Bridge.

we had that in Alpha, was told it would return, maybe
