Should SD Make An Offical Guide Video?

I was thinking back to the times of old, back when I was a level 1 noob and how little information about DB itself the tutorial provided, it just explains general things to do with every FPS game ever made. So what I was thinking was that SD should make a compulsory video that all new players have to watch. It would have things in it like, remembering to throw ammo to team mates, the fact that only one person can repair/defuse at once and other things that relate specifically to DB.

I would like to hear any other things that noobs do that could be covered in this video.

I prescribe Lauren’s Scott’s videos…

I kinda feel sad she’s not in the DB scene anymore

First, they need to majorly balance out mercs, then they could make video guides.
Otherwise they’d be outdated.

Put videos and guides in the game. Also include those small hints on loading screen.

The videos provided by SD are just general introductions and don’t go much into detail. The one you linked in particular show cases things that don’t make much sense in the actual game, for example planting the C4 in the middle of the platform on Underground.

I found the videos for Paladins provided by Hi-Rez a lot more useful. The explain strengths, effective skill combinations, how to counter certain champions (think “mercs”) and how to support different play styles with specific loadouts.

For example, this is the video for Evie, a very mobile champion:

(For the record: the video is not entirely accurate anymore because some skills have changed, but the general style and depth of information could be exemplary for DB. Also, Hi-Rez does not yet provide similar videos for all champions. So they also have room for improvement.)

Of course, there’s plenty of good community video guides for DB but again many of them are pretty short and only cover a relative small part of what there is to know. And you usually have to wade through some duds to find the really helpful ones.
