Should loadouts sell for credits?

Talks about Cobalts and Steam achievements for crafting them for Turtle and Javelin got me thinking, should we be able to sell them for credits?

I mean honestly I’ve got enough shards to craft several cobalt and I hardly ever use them…it takes a while to get up 50k credits unless you just spend a ton of time or you’re super good…neither of which I qualify.

But with my shit luck with crafting and how much time and effort it would be to get something I’ll likely never use. If I could sell some cards for credits it would make the grind a little more tolerable.

Would a ingame auction work ? Buy tokens for both buying/selling for say a £1. That way any duplicates are no longer worthless and SD can profit from such transactions.

Yeah, it’d be very convenient to just have 1 currency (credits) for everything (crafting, recycle into credits, etc.).

But somehow more in-game currencies are more convenient for devs…

Convenient for the players? Yes. But less profitable for the developer. They are mainly designed to limit your options.

The crafting system has two currencies to stop you for example from recycling unwanted cards to instantly get 200k credits for that Obsidian Aura. Maybe you’ll spend money instead of grinding. In general special event currencies are introduced to hide how expensive things are.

Personally I’m always lower on Fragments than I am Credits.
Credits are always the easier of the two to earn as well… but sometimes you are in the situation where you are just shy of crafting something and don’t feel like playing a few more games to meet the credit requirement… and for that I agree, you should be able to sell for credits as well.

I’m under the impression that they are trying to reduce the rate at which we can collect Credits to ensure that we don’t have players with millions saved up, and to incentivise players to spend real money during events.

Thx, 4 playing the devil’s advocate! We don’t have enough of those around…

I dunno if I remember correctly, but when I played in Closed Beta and loadout cards were introduced, you actually received credits with the option of selling the cards.

Well if you have more credits you can always buy some cases and shard the results…not exactly super effective but having more shards than credits I don’t have that option.

This crafting system is just kinda silly in general…especially when it comes to weapon kits…45 to make a single cobalt and it’s all RNG…I’ve got 15 and from what I hear that is a lot compared to some people.
