I did 4 cobalt tradeups
First one was for Aimee, was hoping for F82 but I got G52 (the best Grandeur). I don’t like the Grandeur but still the best
Second one was Vassili, MO11 first try. Best Vassili
3rd tradeup was for Proxy. Got H11 (the best Proxy 1st gen card)
My last tradeup was for Sparks after 2nd generation was released. ez 383 ez life.
I thought I will get the worst card in all 4 tries, and I got the best possibility in 3/4
Just think negative and you will get what you want :3

If they’re Gen 2, sure. If they Gen 1, I would say no, although I’m a bit of a freak for rare items and stuff. In my eyes, combining two Gen 1 cobalts for a Gen 2 cobalt is like taking ancient roman coins and smelting them down to make yourself some pennies and nickels, if you get what I mean.
I’d say hold onto them until trading between players is an option. Perhaps then if you really don’t want them, you could trade them to a collector for some Gen 2 cobalts or something. I’d hate to see unobtainable items leave the economy, as limited as it is right now.

Well I’m sitting on a cobalt same as my suspect Arty and one which is same as my obsidian Phoenix. My only actual blue cobalts. I think i will wait til trading. I have nightmares about trading in these 2 and getting a lead.
