Should I get, Thunder or Redeye ?

First, I don’t play Fragger, don’t like his gameplay and is slow for my taste.
But maybe Thunder is another thing ?

Who would you get between both and, if possible, why ?

ps: I’ve all the other mercs except Phantom and Rhino (which I don’t want).

Redeye is probably more useful atm, the smoke comes in handy a lot and being able to spot people is way better than a 5sec dodgy stun. Thunder is very UP atm, he is a slower shittier fragger with arguably worse weaponry

Thunder is fun, but up. His conc nades are the biggest problem with him. You’ll get more success with fragger. If you’re a new player you might want to go for some other merc besides these 2.

Nader or sawbonez would be my advice.

Get every other merc before you get Thunder. You’ll have more killing potential with Proxy or Aura. He’ll be buffed soon but until then it’s better to invest in other mercs.

He says he has the other mercs. Go for redeye, it is my favorite by far. Thunder is very underwhelming.

Between these two Recons, Redeye has better killing potential and his grenade can cover the team. He also has a more interesting playstyle of moving with the team as opposed to how 90 percent of Vassilis are.

I’ve already all the other mercs… and actually my main 3 are Fletcher, Stoker, Sawbonez/Spark

I don’t aim at getting all the mercs, I’m more interested in IF one of those two, Redeye or Thunder, could add something really useful to my team

Thunder is even slower than Fragger, so you probably don’t want to go that way.

RedEye is great, but his weapons will demand some patience.

i would wait, seeing as thunder is very likely to get buffed soon.

There was something on reddit about one of the people at SD mentioning looking at buffing his LMG and possibly his concussion grenade.

Redeye is currently broken if you can use the PDP. Use him.

I personally had my eye on these two mercs myself since I have 60k credits, the new merc rotation should be in a day or so, there are the chances one of they may be on the rotation…so I’d say hold off till then.

I see…didn’t know…well that kinda sucks lol…well we’re supposed to get a major patch soon, so I’d say wait and see…maybe will see a buff somewhere that may lead to a certain choice.
