Defib kills are already hard enough to get, so I thought the Defibs should get a buff in damage. Considering Sparks pretty much has a long range defib that does more damage than a normal one, the defibs should be buffed. Just my opinion.
Should Defibs Do More Damage?
Well they are medic tools to revive people, I don’t really think it’s really important to buff the defibs. In my opinion they aren’t meant to kill people with, they are meant to help your team by reviving your teammates.
I play a lot as medic but I’ve actually never used my defibs to kill people. Maybe I’m weird for not doing so though.
Anyway that’s my opinion.

Eh, I managed to get a defib kill once by zapping a person that came out of nowhere to finish the dude I was trying to rez.
Rather than buffing the defibs, Sparks’ Revivr needs a major nerf. It’s very OP. It shouldn’t be the best sniper rifle in the game that’s not only capable of 1-shotting people, but going semi-auto as well. It has no recharge which and unlimited ammo. The amount of damage it does even with the slightest charge is just insane. Not to mention it can be hipfired with pinpoint accuracy which is bullshit.
I don’t understand why she hasn’t already been nerfed?
Sparks has the lowest healing capabilities of any other medic and lacks primary. Consider this before you opt to destroy her core ability (wich also serves role of primary).
Non-medics with comparable health and speed, Kira, and Proxy, have 1 primary and 1 secondary. Their abilities have deployment times and cooldowns. Nobody would advocate letting Kira get access to her laser on a short, rechargeable cooldown as a primary, and giving her two secondaries to make up for her lack of primary, because that would be broken. Nobody would advocate letting Proxy have a mine layer with short, rechargeable cooldown as a primary, but letting her get two secondaries to make up for her lack of a primary, because that would be broken. Yet Sparks is apparently immune to this since her Revivr is her “core ability”. No other medic has access to their primary and their defibrillator at the same time like Sparks, and no other medic has access to an infinite ammo gun (the only other class to have an infinite ammo gun in any way similar to hers is Assault with Rhino), and NOBODY has access to a primary that’s as powerful at several ranges as her.
If we’re working under the logic that the Revivr is her primary, then it would make sense that it should be brought in line to the PDP, with the same hip fire. Either that, or it needs to be reduced in damage to be inbetween the Dreiss and the Grandeur, the closest other guns it’s fire rate and hipfire match up to. Right now, it’s the PDP, MOA, and Dreiss all merged into one super gun that also revives from across the map. It’s overtuned.
Kira + short cooldown = Arty. Proxy’s cooldown on mines is short enough, but even if you reduce it father, without primary she’ll become garbage - annoying yet ineffective suicide bomber.
Let’s be honest - REVIVR is the only reason to play Sparks. Other than that, she has nothing but speed and weak medpacks with bad hitreg.
I don’t understand your grim determination to nerf Sparks, I hardly see anyone annoyingly good with her, because of how hard she is to master. On other hand, I regularly see LMB to win Rhinos pissing everybody off.

Well she’s fun to go melee only sometimes.
I don’t think the Defib damage should be buffed. If I remember correctly, the amount of damage it does is to an enemy is equal to the health an ally would receive. A quick zap would do 30 damage while fully charged Defib would do a hundred damage and is also affected by chopper.
It’s fun circling around a dude just zapping him until you see the broken heart kill icon.
i defibbed a rhino to death once by accident
but yes, buff damage. most medics descriptions say “defibs can also be used as melee weapons”
unless its an accident your melee weapons better than a defib
