Should ammo racks give ammo faster?

I think you get ammo way too slow currently (last game I had an SMG and I was getting 7 ammo per tick…). Do you agree the rate should be increased?

As much as the slow rate annoys me occasionally, I voted no because I think that the ammo racks should be a last resort. It’s much better to receive ammo from teammates, and I think that’s a good balance. If it annoys us too much, we can always put an ammo support merc in our party and switch to it if there are no teammates handing out ammo. :slight_smile:

I agree it should be slower than the ammopacks your teammates can give, but I just think it’s really TOO slow atm. And “teammates handing out ammo” on pub servers can be quite rare (or just non existent, or even better, the fieldops who don’t give a single ammo pack when they spawn…)

I’d welcome an augmentation that increases the ammo pack dispenser speed.

I think they are fine as they are. It allows you to get ammo when nobody is around to get ammo with the downside of taking you out of your way sometimes. And loading slowly encourages people to play ammo classes.

But this won’t be an issue in a matchmaking game really.
