Should all weapons be balanced?

Now I know this sounds like an easy answer, but the selection of loadouts could be much more interesting if the worst guns had the best augments and vice-versa.

What I mean by the first option is that, for example, Nader can use the Crotzni, Hochfir, and SMG-9, If you vote the 1st option it means that you think these guns should all be balanced. If you vote the 2nd option it means you think the worst of these weapons should get the best perks.

I think everything should be viable, yes there can and shoulb be slight inbalances but not too big ones.

Some people say that there should be better weapons and weaker weapons to balance the augments but that does not realy work.

Fragger has better m4 loadouts than he has K-121 loadouts. As a weapon the K-121 is just ok and very hard to use, while m4 is almost like god mode. Yet fragger does not get almost any augmets that benefit him that much with K-121.

Sawbones used to have very unbalacned loadouts. Like Crotzni with the best augments.
Now when SMG-9 and Crotzni are more balanced, their loadouts are also bit more balanced.

However there are loadouts with good and bad weapons that have terible augments.
I would actualy like if they separated the weapons from aument cards. So players could choose what smg sawbones could use (still the current 3 options only avaivable) with some loadout card with some play style benefitting augments.

More like “every gun deserves to be decent and to have decent perks”. People pick the Crotzni on the Sawbonez loadout, because the other 2 are not even half as useful and don’t have such nice perks. Every gun deserves to be viable instead of having perks to “balance” them.

gunplay is important and its possible to have the guns be different and balanced. I think dirty bomb in general has good gunplay. Each weapon should excel in a area or 2 and generally I think this has been achieved.

Not sure about “equally viable”, I’d go with “good enough to be worth considering”. Some weapons will inevitably be more situational or suited for more rare playstyles. But I don’t think having to choose between good weapons with crappy perks or bad weapons with useful perks is the way to go.

SM72 has great perks though.

I voted every weapon should be equally viable because it’s closer to what I think should be.

Every weapon should have their ups and downs and perform differently…I don’t believe weapon choices should be clearly superior than one another…just play differently.
