Does the DB community here got any tips for me on how to improve my shotgun skills?
Because i really suck ass with shotguns
Shotguns? (No its not a "OMFG SHOTGUNS OP PLS NURF" thread!)
A good sensitivity I found is much more important with shotguns since you need to score them flicks. Reaction times are also pretty important I feel like.

And i aint a noob[/quote]
I was not being serious. That was me remarking on how many new players ADS with shotguns even though it doesnât alter the spread (At least I think it doesnât alter the spread).
Donât be afraid not to shoot. Panic shooting just doesnât work, and itâs better to take a little damage timing a headshot then rapid firing and missing while wildly bunny hopping, until you have to reload, by which time youâll be mowed down.
What I found best to do is to aim for the head and for the mouse to simply follow their body. If they try to jump out of the way, you follow and shoot when your mouse overtakes the player. If you struggle with quick movement and aiming then just aim for the body whilst strafing. Their shots will be quite hard to make contact with your head whilst youâre getting your nice 70 damage or however they cause. Just be careful to try and not miss, no matter where you aim, as one miss can lead to you dying.
Also, when running around corners, I suggest aiming for head level instinctively as if you have an aura or proxy running round, you can systematically panic shoot and kill them with a headshot. Itâs very satisfying.
Most importantly though try to get close. If you enter a brawl then either whip out your secondary and run backwards away from them to cover or run forward whilst jumping and strafing to reduce the chance of them hitting you as you get closer. This will prevent the shotgun bullets missing them as the closer you are the more make contact.
Hope this helps
Have fun
P.S. have quite high mouse speed (forgot the official word) to allow you to move your aim faster as the closer you are the more they move relatively to your screen.
