Damage falloff still begins at 3.84m

Hollunds 880
Reduced pellet falloff minimum damage to 1 (from 5)
Increased pellet damage falloff end distance to 32m (from 14.8m)
Damage falloff still begins at 1.7m

Remburg 7
Reduced pellet falloff minimum damage to 1 (from 5)
Increased pellet damage falloff end distance to 28m (from 13m)
Damage falloff still begins at 1.4m

I know some people snipe with shotgun, but that’s not my case.

I use them for close combat only! all of their falloff end distance got buff! what do you think?

Did you see how falloff works in the patch notes? Previously min damage was 5 at any distance above the falloff end distance (e.g. 17m for the Remburg), now it drops all the way to 1 at a longer distance (28m for the Remburg again). In effect (still with the Remburg):

  • Up to 1.4m the damage remains the max of 8 as it was previously (no change)
  • From 1.4m to 13m the damage drops progressively from 8 down to 5 as it was previously (I’ll spare you the maths, but they picked the numbers so that bit didn’t change either)
  • From 13m to 28m the damage continues to drop from 5 down to 1, while previously it remained at 5 in this range (nerf)
  • At 28m or more, damage is now 1 vs 5 previously (nerf)

So overall, no changes up to the old falloff end distance and a damage reduction at all ranges beyond that. Definitely calling it a nerf (but a well thought one).

If that’s true, some designer somewhere needs a cake
