Ah, Shotguns. They’re powerful, reliable, and abnormally fun to use. I personally use smgs more than anything, but whenever I go to use shotguns it feels as if I’m invincible. They seem like a one-up from the smgs in scenarios such as the 1st obj. on Underground, the generator room on Terminal, and Apartments on Bridge. And while it might seem as if I would have a disadvantage in long corridors and pathways, I don’t. I’ve heard talk about shotguns having crazy range (mostly from pubs), and I wanted to ask for the community’s opinion on shotguns. Do you believe the falloff damage needs to be decreased? Or do you feel as if shotguns are in a good position right now. Tell me below in the comments.

Shotguns have pretty crappy range. Personally I think they should have more range but less damage to be more consistent but less annoying up close.

I think that’s a great idea. Increasing the range would effectively tighten the cone allowing the gun to be more based on aim. And of course lowering the damage would give smg and rifle users a chance to react. Sadly, I don’t think SD will make such drastic changes anytime soon.
