this is my new map. is’s now at 70%

objectives:

allies:
1: steal the tank.
2:guide the tank to the entrance gate.
3:prevent the axis of constructing the tank bariers.
4:blow up a thingy. (i don’t really know yet what that would be :clap: )
5:construct the command post.
axis:
1: prevent all the stuff above
2:construct the tank bariers

looks nice is the seawall water semi seethrough if it is how did you make it liek that i need it working for mine and trojans beach map

YOu need to gamma adjust your screenshots. They are coming out really really dark

Looks nice so far, did you ever finish that island map that you were working on? I remember taking a look (through the host game option) at a version of nuke island, though it was very incomplete. The pictures you posted a couple weeks back looked like it was well on it’s way to earning a spot on some servers, including ours,provided the gameplay was as good as the screens. What happened to it?

I loved your map Sector 47 and liked what you did so far with castlelump_b1 (will another version be released?). Should you need any help testing these maps out, my clan and I would be happy to put it on our pub (Server IP: 64.182.103.55:27960 ) and private servers. Drop me a line with some contact info should you be interested. This goes for anybody else looking to test out their maps as well.

I think Iffy is just being a Rude Gus, I don’t see anything wrong with the gamma in those shots. Of course you may have already adjusted them and I just don’t know it.

IMO the rain really doesn’t fit, and as for the Allied objective, you could always resort to a cliche generator if you run out of ideas. Otherwise the map looks promising, although it’s probably a good idea to take shots showcasing the general layout of the map.

No, the screenshots look darker than default Radar, dark enough where I can’t really see much of the map, which is kind of the point of screenies. I’d suggest either:

  • upping r_intensity and r_mapoverbrightbits in your game config -OR-
  • increasing gamma by 25-50% in photo/paintshop

For objectives, it would be nice to blow up some Axis subs and/or cap and support ships, but that’s just me. A generator or something along those lines seems a bit mundane if a primary objective. You could do that as a very “choice” (cool) secondarly objective to knock out lights and power to doors and certain important sections of the shipyard and have a backup generator kick in that would be emergency lights only (but no door locks).

Then you could make your way to the anchored fleet/drydocks/sub pens and go about blowing them up and/or commandeering one of them for later covert operations or for intel on a prototype’s specifications, capabilities and weaknesses.
