Shield-o-bot glitch

Greetings splash damage,

Great game.

I encountered a problem using dee hatlacker’s shield-o-bot after updating. The bot would not be able to occupy or move through a recently vacated space (death of a toon) but if the enemy toon was move differently ( water cannon or push back) it would be able to do so. I have experienced this twice in a London map and a rio map. And I also notice my opponent had trouble too because his own bot could not move onto a space where he killed my toon in a rio map.

Hope you can fix it soon.

And by the way weren’t allied toons able to move through the shield-o-bot before? Now I can’t what happened?

I found out something about the bot shield too that I think shouldn’t happen.
I cornered an enemy into a spot he could only move in one direction. Then I put my bot right infront of him and he cloaked the next turn.
What I realized is that I could not move my bot into that spot (where the enemy is) when he is cloaked.
I think this is not supposed to happen because if a unit moves into a cloaked enemy spot, the cloaked unit moves so that your unit can take the spot.

This makes sense since you can’t move your bot through your units anymore, but it’s funny when you can’t move your bot into an “empty space”. (whether you know if there is a cloaked unit there or not)

We think we know what’s causing both of these and will have a fix in one of the future updates (not the very next one, but after that).

Think there maybe a glitch on lapa map, I couldn’t get the bot from car out after destroying drone




It is my first one on this map since I don’t have expansion set was from a friend random.

Was playing on single game Favela and the shield-a-bot would not go in opposition spawn area (2nd move team) it was sitting choke square and could move 4 enrgy everywhere but up the alley. when clicking on it said 0 enrgy but when I moved to others squares that I could go it counted how many enrgy left.

I’m the friend. I didn’t mind, but I was wondering why you just danced your shield bot back and forth after you capped my drone. Glitches like that really P me off (when they happen to me:)). It puts the whole match in question. I can’t gloat as much now.

With the narrow areas of maps the use of the shield is really reducing mobility it is like sliding the puzzle pieces game to get the picture.

Kerry-rigs just showing my frustrations of being out manoeuvred, gunned down on a new map that looks like in similar par to old town and favela (and finding the bug as well as playing with the bug), just a newbie :stuck_out_tongue:

Not offended. The glitch has had a very definite impact on this match. It sucks to have to play against the machine as well as the other player.

The behavior does seem to be pretty consistent. I wonder if I should add it to my standard tactics: shield-o-bot deployed, toss health crate to block. Hum…

Not to high jack, but I broke the rules on Beach. Check your PM’s.

Think I found another glitch.
Opponent shield bot went on a C4 it had 2 yellow wounds , I blew up and killed dee and wounded two others but shield survived with no damage!
Maybe also related to overlapping bug topic
