ShellShock: Effect for Sound

Hello, I would like to switch with pleasure all sounds on silently except one. After ner time one sound becomes more and more quietly, however, then the other sounds should become pure nicely slow again.

So perfectly would be, e.g., the sound of the blend nade of the TCE Mod.

How could I make this?

Is it for map related purposes or modding ?

I understand, he wants the same effect that you have in new games.
When you get hit by a flash bang grenade all you hear is a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, then slowly that sound disappears and you start to hear properly again.

He is wondering how you can achieve this effect in a mod, but unfortunetly i have no idea.

Yes stealth has understand me. Fade the backgroundsound up and play normal a beeep sound.

A nice effect is trap_S_FadeAllSound( float targetvol, int time, qboolean stopsounds); But then its fading the Beep Sound too -.-

If this effect is laready in one of the mods you could ask the modders how they have done it.

Can’t you just make it play the BEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep noise and it stops all other noise for the client that gets hit by it?
