sheilds, grenades, knives and front grips oh my!

Scince I would imagine the new attachments are going to be front attachements, how many of you would rather have a bayonette or a shield instead of your trusty front grip? And what about that underslung granade pooper hmmm?

And also any theories or news on how these new attachments will be received? Will there be a challenge for them or a level requirement or are they just immediatley available? (Which would be lame)

all underslung grenade launcher noobs shall burn in hell. :infiltrator:

(LightningV) #3

Heh, games I’ve played recently have many users at once abusing the undersling grenade launcher, pathetic if you ask me.

(BiigDaddyDellta) #4

I’ve only used the thing once or twice, the timing screwed me up. Id rather use shoot grenades or cook.

grenade shooting>underslung

(wolfnemesis75) #6

…I’d sure like to try the bayonet.

(voodooboy) #7

How did they abuse it? Did they shoot it at you cause that would be bang out of order…

(Smoochy) #8

which end do you want to try? holdy end or the sharp end?

i must admit im interested but i always forget about melee button when it gets frantic. i guess im still old school where you had to select melee weapons.

It’s gotta be the front grip for me as every one of my characters uses the carb-9 as either a primary or secondary weapon.

Way to stand out from the crowd lol all my charcters use different variations and I own with each of them in a different way. But it’s nice to see you playing to your full potential haha

I bought the pre-order Fallout carb-9 and I’m gonna use the pre-order Fallout carb-9! (Not my fault it’s way overpowered hee hee.)

(BiigDaddyDellta) #13

Lol, no it is not your fault.

(NthLegion) #14

There’s something to be said for the lack of delay with the underslung launcher.

(NthLegion) #15

I was thinking the shield would be a top attachment, since I seem to recall something about being protected from head shots. I don’t know if you ever played Army of Two, but something like the gun shields in that game. I’m also wondering if the shields will only provide headshot protection when ADS.

(BiigDaddyDellta) #16

yeah they look just like those shields from army of 2. and I’m not sure if they are top attachments or not i don’t think the screen shots had a scope or anything.

(NthLegion) #17

I hadn’t even looked at the screens and it looks like you’re right. That weapon shield on the Rhett looks like a bottom attachment. Much smaller than I pictured.

Edit: Just saw the screenshot for the weapon shield on the Kross, as well. Looks the same as the Rhett, but security version. WTF is that little antenna for?

(BiigDaddyDellta) #18

yeah well, that’s only one I believe there’s ones for heavy weapons too that could be larger.

(BiigDaddyDellta) #19

Hmm… is it just me or do the shields only look like they cover one side? it has that elongated piece that looks like it should frame a piece of plexi or sometihng, but it’s only on the left.

(NthLegion) #20

I think it is framing a piece of plexi. You can barely see the edge of it. Good call. I thought it was just some random antenna-looking thing sticking out of the shield. And, yes, it looks like they only cover one side, but who knows how big the hit-box is.
