Share your FOV setting

Following the @n3x post about mouse settings, I was wondering what FOV you were using, and with what resolution (and eventually how high your sens is- low/mid/high just to have an idea, no need specifics).

My FOV is set at 90, and I’m in 4/3 (1024*768 - else I don’t have much fps), following the one I had in W:ET. Tried 65, felt like if it was playing with perma ADS, that was damaging my brain, and I couldn’t see anything… and a medium sensitivity.

fov is calculated differently than W:ET, in W:ET it was horizontal, DB is vertical

Ever since they changed it to vertical, I could never find the value I’m comfortable with. So I ended up on 100 on 1680x1050 and shoot at fleas at longer distance :slight_smile: Not too happy abut it, but seem like I do best when playing on 100.

Ok thanks for the info, that explains why I had the feeling the FOV was actually higher than the value I used. I even lowered it recently and found it was more comfortable.

Try to calculate your fov from h to v

I used 120 Fov in ET for the rifle and now I am still trying to find what works in DB. I think 85 Fov on 1920 x 1080 works fine for now. Might go lower soon.

Currently using 75 vertical at 1280x720. Yes it’s playable. No I do not experience migraines.

I also use a 90 fov, with a 1280 x 1024 resolution.

I’m at 85 FOV on 2560x1080. 95 is my normal in most games but I guess it’s calculated differently for DB and 85 felt better ^^

1024x768 No Scaling, 65 fov (default I believe).

Feels nice.

100 or 110 I think. Watched too many skating vids in my formative years so I have a thing for fish eye lenses :slight_smile:

Max FOV on 1980 x 1080.

all settings LOW.

1920*1080 with 100 fov. Comp Chivalry settings at 135/140 definitely locked my fov preferences in the upper side for all UE3 games… Games with fov locked under 90 make me want to puke now… Inverted Motion Sickness in a certain way :smiley:
