I’m looking for ways to create specular and bump-mapping into Wolf ET? Any ideas?

Bump - see tutorials page on me web site.
Specular cant be done like next gen engins, but you can have a glossy sheen controled by an alpha chanel, most of the et weapon shaders use it. Cant think of any enviroment shaders that use it off the top of me head.

Ya I’ve seen this on the rust tutorial site. I’m talking about a better bump. Like crazybump. I was thinking about whether it can be done for WolfEt.

ET is a 6 year old game, based on an even older engine

Yes, but the mod we play under ET is the best around. None of us are about to give it up.

has taken the Q3 source code and made it possible for Specular and Bumb mapping. The WET source code has been released. Are there any coders up for the challenge?

If I could code I would do this.

Hmm, that is very interesting. This could be used to make a real HD-ET.
