OK, I have made about 5 models with this problem, and this is driving me nuts. All of my 5 models that have this, ahve ONE texture missing, it is the right size, with the right name, in the right directory, and has the right amount of colors, in the right file format, and a shader is not need. Why wont it show up?!?!?!
Shaders not found
Make sure you export your models to the directory that they are going to be in. open the models in a hex editor or any other viewer and check the texture path in the model.
We had this problem with the SO models but Gino got it working after exporting em to the dir they are going to be in.
Its in the dir its gonna be in, and so are the textures. And, as I said I re did my QC file about 5 times, the paths are correct.
I’m having the same problem. I was trying to use the ME-262 from Flughafen (turbopoint’s model) and copied over the relevent model files, scripts, edited shaderlist.txt, and I can’t get the shadow file to show up. Everything else looks fine
BTW, are the dimensions of your images a power of 2?
What error messages are you getting in the console? Do you have any slashes the wrong way around in your paths?
All of the slashes are \ for me, and I get a ton of shader not found messages, but in game all but one of those shaders not found show up. Its a 256x128 tga image with a 24million color depth.
