So there is only 6v6 and 5v5, that’s needed but where are the 8v8 objective ?

I think it’s better this way. Up to 16 for community servers would be keen.

6 v 6, obj, no ff, drop-in, standard XP rate
5 v 5 sw, ff, penalties for dropping, XP/coin multipliers for winning

Being limited to 6-v-6 killed Wolfenstein 2009, either not enough players to make the game worthwhile, or servers full, rarely anything in-between. I’m assuming they’ve limited the server size for now till they balance out server loads etc., but it will need to go up, to at least 8-v-8 again, for the game to work on pubs.

Kendle, do you really think that’s what killed 2009? I don’t call it Wolf 2009 because the game was no where near the level it needed to be to have Wolf in the title.

I believe Wolf09 could be a good game, was released to early and no SDK was released.

8v8 will come back in the near future, at which point we will have a mix of all sizes. We still want to do matched 5v5, as well as support bigger ‘pub’ servers

and about the rental ? any news ? providers ? options ? something ?
and maybe one day in the futur some bigger maps for bigger servers ! like a special map pack for 24 or 32 slots servers ?

and horrible ping … used to have between 20 and 30 on EU servers now I got around 60 and 90 ! WTF ?

mine’s gone from 45-50 to 60-80

FPS on 10 slot filled server went from 70-80 to 35-50, sluggish feel

I like 8v8. I like pubs. I want a few more players and commotion in the mix so I’m not always the target. I like the cheap shots when nobody is looking. I like fighting noobs. I just want to have a fun, exciting game. You might ask why I want to play Extraction when there’s great hope it’ll be a good esport game? You might say my opinion doesn’t belong here as everyone is trying to make the game ultra competitive. I also like a game that has solid, fluid movement controls and accurate shooting mechanics. Extraction has that more than a ton of other games I’ve played and it has exciting moments around the objectives. I would love to recapture the excitement that surrounded almost every single game in ETQW. I have hopes that Extraction will get there to some degree. I also dream about there being a new game down the road by SD which has larger maps, more players, and vehicles added. I know I’m getting ahead of myself, but I hope that’s part of the long-range plan.
