Servers for pc ppl?

I use filter myself when i search for servers, i have set it up so it always only find our servers :slight_smile:

but ive been talking to alot of ppl lately complaining about the amount of servers out there, they said its hard to find any servers?

its weird tho because when i do search it says that i have found 2 out of around 500 i think it is, which to my knowledge is almost the same amount as players, so in theori we could all have a server for ourselves :wink:

so questions actually what settings are you guy using in your filters when searching?

as a server owner and planning to stay that, i would like to know :slight_smile: so plz plz

i hide all password protected servers and search servers with 2 or more human players on them.

I think people are complaining about the number of servers with people playing on them.
There are plenty of servers out there but only about 20 have people on them.
Of those 20 many are full or playing game types that the searcher doesnā€™t want to play.

I was on on the weekend looking for some versus play and there were about 10 versus servers with people in my search. 5 were full, 2 weā€™re at 14/16 (one high ping, one OK ping) and the rest were 8-10 people with varying game modes.
There seemed to be a number of co-op servers going that were full though.

My filters are:

Donā€™t list password servers
> 1 player
< 100 ping
And then I switch the game type dependant on my mood.

and then I hate to do this extra click for sorting them in the other direction by player count. jRAD, any chance you can make the sorting default to list the filled servers first and not those low populated?

damned I miss the days of good old W:ET where many found a server then made it favourite if they liked it an kept comming back even tho it was empty when they started playing knowing that it would fill quite fast.

well as a serverowner that would mean you have to have clanppl on it 24/7 to get it used, not sure i like that tbh, but well i guess thats how it is in this game with many server and few ppl playing it.

are all using pplcounts as filters?

I donā€™t use any filters when searching for servers. Iā€™m in San Francisco and I just look for servers with the lowest ping. Ones I frequently join are in Los Angeles and Seattle but recently a new one appeared in San Jose and there is one called ā€œMavericksā€ which I believe is also in California. Iā€™ll just enter one of those and play against bots and wait for people to join.

I donā€™t filter on ppl count. I sort the list in descending order by player count.
Slightly different, but not by much.

hmm we have no bots on our server, dont like to play against bots tbh, that might explain it also

wouldnt have thought bots where popular on such a new game, but thats maybe also because of playercounts.
