It wont, this is just general maintenance, the Fine Tuning update isn’t quite ready, I hope that isn’t too much of an inconvenience but it’s not that bad. We can all be patient for this update as we were for the last, hang in there!

(fubar) #6

Finally! Servers and netcode has been feeling like shit. These maintenances need to be a weekly thing again :frowning:

(Iceqw) #7

please fix South Americas servers, they are with high ping. since last update South America servers have higher ping than USA servers, can you please check this, It seems Brasilians have not this problem, but do they have same issue others regional countrys, Like chile, argentina, paraguay.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

(Lumi) #8

I feel that by now we shouldn’t have to ask for it, but why are there never patch notes before the actual patches happen?

(Ardez1) #9

They don’t like to release any notes and then have to retract parts of it if something wasn’t able to be included.

(inventiveIncense) #10

THUNDER HYPE!!! THUNDER INC!!!

So I guess I’m missing something about the process. If they are planning a fix, isn’t the code already written and isn’t just about applying a patch? I mean at least a few hours before or at least during the down time they should be able to have that knowledge of what makes it in and what not. Or is my logic flawed here somehow?

Anyway, let’s hope this upcoming downtime will fix the server’s current state. It has currently worse lag than any peer to peer shit call of dutys came up with. Headshots are counting as body shots, full on shotgun hits are declared a total miss even from a meter and a half away and I could go on… This, more than patch notes, is what is currently in need of fixing.

(Glot) #12

is this an update yahay???

(Ardez1) #13

@Lumi If they need to roll back the patch due to an issue or remove a certain part of it due to an error rolling the patch out.

The very last thing Nexon wants to do is essentially ‘promise’ something and then have to take it back.

In addition it takes a bit for the patch notes to run all the way from SD through to MissMurder. Afaik it isn’t a direct route. Little delays add up.

(Noupoi) #14

Time zone conversion seems wrong. The BST, PDT and AEST times are all the same, but convert to 2pm UTC.

Is this when the actual maintenance is taking place?

(neverplayseriou) #15

nuuuuu I just got outta school and tried joining a match and the servers went down :frowning:

(Critalix) #16

Hey all,

Don’t want to keep you in the dark about this, this is not a content patch but strictly backend updates. We are testing the next content patch though, and we’ll release that as soon as we can. We’ll do our best to minimize the downtime for this maintenance and get you back in the game quickly. Thanks very much for your patience and understanding!

(Faraleth) #17

@Critalix Thanks for the clarification and update on it! ^.^ I think when the maintenance post went live, it didn’t mention anything about there being no content update, so it was easy to draw assumptions. Glad to have it cleared up though, even though some of us know <3

Is it fixing things like the occasional server drop-out/crashes? Or is it just stuff we don’t really need to know about (like technical server jargon)? Just out of curiosity, that is ^.^

(Critalix) #18

hey @Faraleth, no problem. Definitely more on the technical jargon side of things. Unfortunately we aren’t releasing any game updates with this maintenance, but we should be releasing another patch with more bug fixes in it very soon.

@Critalix : can we expect weapon fine tuning as well ? Thinking about KEK-10 and Blishlok mainly.
