So in my server list I have servers in East USA,West USA.
I live in Chitown,my pings to a west server on Avg is 60,East its 40s…
Since said last server downtime the other day,pings are off the chart…
West servers are pinging and playing 100+ and East which I prefer 75+.
What happen to my pings? Its like playing under water now,huge lag going on.
when a few 200 pings show up ,you shoot the model,you dont hit it,then I die.
I check my network,and my Killer NIC card program,and there is no problem on my end.
This is the only game effected,out of several I play daily.
How about Central servers!!

Some server issues ever game had at some point. We don’t need hundreds of threads about the same topic everytime the servers have problems.

If you didn’t have a problem before, then the solution shouldn’t be adding new servers. The solution should be fixing the problem causing the higher ping. (imho)
Also, are you on Windows 10? It seems some Win10 users are experiencing new latency issues after the most recent patch.

Windows 7,15 down 5 up…Just did a bunch of traces and hops,and im not getting a PL or jitter…Its kinda strange too,the restricted lvl 5 servers ping 20S in browser US East,but all the other East ping 70+.When I was lvl 5 bellow,ping is what I play by,my ping was 30…
Im a OS player since UR99,when if your ping was above 100 you got kicked,and lowest ping ruled.

So players who think 100/50 is so awesome for gaming, couldnt be more wrong,and are getting played if they think its needed for gaming.
Anything above 3/1,for gaming in general is just a waste of $$$,unless you got 5 pages open,and are streaming,with TS and Vent going,than ya better have some ram too.
I have been building gaming computers since 2000, and know how networks work.
And after todays testing My hops a have not routed around a misshap in NYs network backbone rerouting my signal too Virgina first.

The issue is the constant ping and pong. In order to see people move, the game has to constantly upload and download. 5 up and 15 down is horrible. I recomend the following:

You do know your theories collapsed on itself,when I ran a trace and found a switch house down.Once said switch was fixed my ping returned too normal.
As for ping and pong? like I said no games uses more than 1mb,its more like 650k.
Just like DX12 wont make this game run or look faster.

Lmao? Wtf is this saying 15/5 is shit. It is as far as speed is concerned but for gaming it’s perfectly fine. Connection stability and latency is what’s important. I’m in Australia so naturally my internet is shit and I’m on around 13/1 and ping 24 to my servers 99.9% of the time.
