Sorry, I was reffering to it from the player side and the server side but not seperating them(as you know).
I meant maxrate: sv_maxrate 4000

I ran a dedicated behind a router on the unpatched side called ::Bloodbath Palace:: and that had a maxrate of 4500/14 players. My cable is approx. 3mb/384kbs. --It wasn’t too bad for the randoms who used it…actually, some guy loved it so much, he kept my mods and such and uses them in ‘Bloodbath Palace2’.
What I am trying to say here is I hope that your connection holds a decent BW.

my bandwith is 6 mb but i dunno about this set maxrate stuff. Thx

The sv_maxrate determines the amount of bandwidth your server uses for each client. So you have 6mb down, which I can make a lazy guess that your upspeed is 512kb+.
Still not enough to support the settings you previously had…Can you find out what your upspeed is and post it ?
