Server Configs for ET Test: Admins-Only

(tjw) #41

That would be g_redlimbotime 30000 for axis and
g_bluelimbotime 20000 for allies. Those are the defaults and be adjusted.
I just tried:

set g_redlimbotime 60000
set g_bluelimbotime 60000

With the full ET release, but it doesn’t take (never tried with the test). I also guessed and tried g_alliedlimbotime and g_axislimbotime, but those didn’t work either.

Any other ideas?

try setting g_useralliedrespawntime and g_useraxisspawntime. They are by default set to 0, which set thes default times of 20000 and 30000. I havent played around with these yet, but I think that may be it.

It turns out that redlimbotime and bluelimbotime cannot be overridden without
editing the pk3 files. However, these cvars work:

set g_userAxisRespawnTime 60
set g_userAlliedRespawnTime 60

Ah, thanks for the speedy response, sorry I forgot to reload this page before my last post

hopefully this is some use: Advanced ET Server

 • most info is probably in the et_server.cfg itself… hopefully someone can tell me if the heavyweaponsrestriction explanation is accurate or not

Also, looking for aggreement on a “standard” set of pb_cvar, those are just from the ET doc and a couple from the clanbase rtcw cvars (similar to CAL) that i noticed -at first glance- werent there and were probably still existing in ET.

What the use of :

set sv_minguidage “0” :bash:

I’ve studied the cvarlist commands, 331 is what I have found that can be used for the server side setup. And I haven’t found a setting that changes the end of game ready warmup timer. Or whatever it’s called.
What you are talking about is called the intermission, the time at the end of a round. The warmup has nothing to do with this. We need a cvar to adjust the intermission time.
Both the Shrub and Bani (ETPro) mods have implemented this function, either as g_intermissiontime (shrub) or b_intermissiontime (etpro), you just need to select mod, both should be serverside and require no download on the clients if I’ve read them correct (have so far only tested etpro)
