Ever wondered why typing Min Level 10 into the search box shows servers other than Min Level 10?

It finds results for any of the words you typed individually. It checks your list of words against:

  • Server Name
  • Game Type
  • Map
  • The word “password”
  • The word “full”
  • The word “empty”

Dirty Bomb’s search function is very similar to many search engines, such as Google (or Bing, for you strange people out there). Using different symbols called search operators allows you to refine your search to a greater degree of accuracy.

I only know of 2 search operators that actually affect Dirty Bomb:

Surround the phrase in quotes to find a result with the same set of words in the same order.

Add a dash before the word to exclude that word from the results. Note: The dash must be before each word you want to exclude

And a combination of the two:

This finds all EU objective servers that have already started

This finds all EU servers with an ID of 01. I had to exclude all server regions except EU because there is no wildcard (*) search operator. Searching EU 01 will find all results with EU and/or 01, and searching “EU 01” will find no results.
