Serious trolling caused in delivery mission

It was just a normal day in an Asia server, me playing 8 vs 8 Chapel during the night…

As soon as my team completed the escort, I saw one guy grabbed the EMP charge, and afk.

We’d barely vote kicked him, but suddenly the other guy did the same thing for purpose…

Well things went good fortunately… so we also banned the second guy, but I guess if this happens again, this might be a serious threat to attacker team’s victory.

I think Splash Damage should really solve this problem quick!

As we all know, playing dirty doesn’t matter, but dirty manner shall always be punished.

The only resolution I can think of is that you’re not allowed to hold onto the package for longer than x time otherwise you automatically drop it (with the exception of when you’re delivering). However, if they implement it, then I feel like it’ll cause some problems with you needing to clutch as you might drop it half way through running and need to run back and pick it up which may cost you the game.

Maybe there should be option to take it from teammate if he is statnding still… And I don’t mean when delivering it, but only in cases like that…

Also this happened to me yesterday, Vassili took it and going around attacking spawn in Chapel… I wished there was friendly fire atm, so I would kill him and teabag him probably lol

I saw a lot of people complaining on dicks that do that and I got one question for you, where the hell are you playing from cause I am playing from EU and with my 320+ I haven’t saw one guy do that.

Well neither did I, besides this what happened yesterday, so… It’s probably very rare…

Only thing that I did like that was when I went through that tunnel in chapel with EMP charge to ressuply my ammo (I was out of ammo at the time) so I dropped EMP and reloaded weapon…
Moments later I realised that I couldn’t pick EMP up, because it was stuck in ammo box… We had to wait for EMP to return itself… But we won in the end :smile:

If it’s so rare I don’t see why we need a mechanic to prevent it. Maybe just give us a report button for shit like this and vote kick him.

I mean if someone can come up with a solution, then great! But I don’t see how they can implement something to prevent it from happening.

We did it once when we had a hacker on our team when vote kicks didn’t go through to give the other team a chance.

They should probably implement some kind of kick rule where if you afk for “x” amount of time with the EMP in your hands or if you’re not afk but running around like a idiot hogging it, you will get banned.

Then employ the same system as in CS:GO, if a player is afk with the bomb (or EMP in this case) for more than 15 seconds, the bomb (EMP) is dropped

There should definitely be some sort of AFK kick while holding it… I think everyone can agree to that. Anything more than that would be hard to do, as how would the game know if you are being a dick, or just playing normally?

Maybe you are hiding with the EMP andwaiting for your team to get in position but they keep dying? You shouldn’t get auto kicked for that as you weren’t doing anything wrong.

Vote kicking does seem like the best method as it is agreed upon by the whole team.

Alternatively we could also employ a “feature” that drops the EMP if you start heading in the wrong direction with it (say towards the start of the map). This would prevent one way of trolling at least.

However… you would want to be able to disable that “feature” on a private match as you might be doing some sort of custom rules/game mode which would require you to take the EMP back to the start for some reason.

That being said, I have not once seen anyone troll with the EMP/Cargo objective.
