Serious lack of West coast servers in matchmaking.

I have played 8 hours after being invited to the beta yesterday. I have played in maybe 3 games where my ping was less than 60. Every game I play my ping is near 120ish due to the server I am being put in on the east coast. Also no I don’t have bad internet. 60 down and 6 up. Would post a link showing so but apparently I haven’t been around long enough to post links.

I genuinely hope there will be more servers added for West coast players sometime soon. Or at least some type of filter to keep players solo matchmaking in servers near their geographical location even if the wait times have to be increased by 10 seconds.

The problem might be the numer of players in that region. There simply might be so few of you that most of participants in a match will be from east coast and then it’s logical to put you on east coast server to have less people lag.

I can guarantee there are more than just a few people playing this game that live somewhere near the west coast lol. If I was put in a server anywhere west of Texas or west of Chicago I’d have around 60 ping. For some reason I am being put in servers literally on the east coast resulting in 100+ ping.

Either way it’s an issue because it’s happening. Hopefully something happens and the problem is addressed.

Players in Oceania also connect to west coast servers as it gives us the best ping. We have no servers close to us and the lowest ping I have had is 250.

Here’s a great example of a group of players with 100+ ping being put in a server geographically far away from them.
