Because SD needs to add an ability that gives players some sort of boost for teabagging. Maybe, cause the target of the teabag (teabaggee?) to skip the next spawn wave? That will give the AI some motivation!

Maybe when you teabag someone it should completely delete that person’s character. That would be the ULTIMATE TEABAG.

Ah yes, Blacklight Tango Down, was fun for a little while before the servers became extremely laggy and the community died.

If only Brink didn’t do respawn in spawn-waves… They could make teabagging delay the respawn of the teabaggee by 3 seconds (to wash their face).

The ultimate insult in this game is to melee someone just as they respawn. I love how if it is timed right, a player can respawn without full health…or get knocked down right after they respawn. You are literally “pwning” them so bad that they feel it in their next life. 
I had something similar to this happen to me yesterday. I got shot to death next to my mine and just as I respawned an enemy stepped on my mine and I actually died from my own mine in my team’s respawn area. Totally showed up in the death feedback as killing myself with my own mine. (Stupid friendly fire servers.)

last night on Terminal, I was hacking and got knocked down as I was starting the hack. I ended up downed with downed-fire and was able to take out a bunch of enemy from the ground…
…the strange part and funny thing is I have never chosen the ability of Downed Fire for any of my characters and so shouldn’t have been able to do it!
@JJ. def the worst case I’ve heard of. I actually see this a lot (by a lot, i mean a couple times a play session), especially if you are waiting to revive or using downed fire, and a grenade (or mine, it would appear) goes off. I’m not sure if it’s an issue of the timer just hitting zero as the (splash) damage occurs, or if the delay in the splash damage causes you to still register it even after you’ve respawned (those might be the same thing, lol, coffee still working it’s way to my brain).
either way, i’ve had a few wtf moments where I’m already at 1/2 health as i’m running out of my spawn. (never killed though)
@Wolf - you sure you weren’t just knocked down (slide tackle style?). It happened to me a few times early on and I thought “didnt realize downed fire was a default ability” but if you push forward (on the left stick) you climb back up (there is a delay).
the question is - did it go to a respawn choice menu (i.e. either wait/revive or join-reinforcements) b/c that’s what happens in the downed fire, or did it just go kinda blurry and slow aiming with your secondary weapon.
I was not able to get up but able to shoot as if downed. not sure. you could be right, but it worked like downed fire.
when it happens it takes a while to get up…long enough that you think - whoah, i’m stuck. im pretty sure they outlined this scenario in one of the early videos…but it rarely seems to actually happen
but still - did it go to the revive/respawn choice menu? (that always happens w/ downed fire)

Just happened to me again last night in Aquarium. I was killed by either a mine or gun (went by to fast to see) but here is a picture of me dead on respawn with that odd “fall down” kill symbol.
