seperating functioned brushes

Hey in a map i am working on i want oto have a “floor” that is destroyable in equal parts, these parts are small, so as yo ucould imagine it woudl take a long time to do func_explosive on 500 pieces that have all the same details. So i highlited the mall, made them 1 big func_explosive and gave teh mteh same details, so is there a way i can break tehm apart? but still be able to have it so they are not “group” and all get destroyed when one is… thanks alot

i got no idea how to break them up but, if the floor is using the same texture throughout then make a 128 x 128 unit floor and then make each pice breakable individualy them copy and paste it across the rest of your floor and use the cutter to get rid of any unwanted pices

select them 1 by one and make them into func_explosives

then you can select them all and type in all the type stuff

BTW if you use angles or anything you have to select it from the list and enter it, otherwise the angle only applies to the last brush selected

Also, if you’ll apply a texture to that floor that only used there and then brake it apart, you’ll be able to click on that texture in the texture window and then go back to the camera or any other view and press Shift+A. All brushes with that texture will then be selected.
