I’d like a tab for merc specific keybinds under the options menu. So that I can set a keybind for my weapons and abilities on a merc by merc basis.
Let’s look at some examples.
Sawbonez
Primary Weapon: 1
Secondary Weapon: 2
Knife: 3
Ability 1 (Med Pack): Q
Ability 2 (Defibrillator): E
Pretty much the default.
Skyhammer
Primary Weapon: 1
Secondary Weapon: 2
Knife: 3
Ability 1 (Air Strike): E
Ability 2 (Ammo Pack): Q
Opposite of default to have ammo and health on the same key.
Fragger
Primary Weapon: 1
Secondary Weapon: 2
Knife: 3
Ability 1 (Frag Grenade): MouseButton4
Ability 2 (None):
Makes it easier to move while cooking, and also prevents you from accidentally throwing nades at your feet after just having played medic/ammo dude.
Nader
Primary Weapon: 1
Secondary Weapon: 2
Knife: 3
Ability 1 (Grenade Launcher): 4
Ability 2 (Martyrdom (can’t remember if it is it’s own key)): E
Moves the grenade launcher to a number key among the other weapons.
Fletcher
Primary Weapon: 1
Secondary Weapon: 2
Knife: 3
Ability 1 (Sticky Bombs): MouseButton4
Ability 2 (Detonate): MouseButton5
Same reasons as Fragger.
Phantom
Primary Weapon: 3
Secondary Weapon: 2
Knife: 1
Ability 1 (Refractive Armour): Q
Ability 2 (None):
Makes the sword the primary weapon (kind of).
Let’s say if the keybind on this tab is left blank, it’ll use the default bind.
But I assume that’s never going to happen, so instead it’d be nice if someone has some commands I can put into input.ini that will change my keybinds around. Let’s say F5 is default, F6 is Skyhammer, F7 is Fletcher, F8 is Nader etc…
Or if that’s not possible, though I’m pretty sure it is. Maybe someone has made a AHK script that does just that, in which case I’d like that.
I’m currently not home, and won’t be until Thursday, so if no one have done so until then, I’ll do it myself and post it here if anyone is interested.
Some thing i really don’t like are the grenade of fragger and fletcher
