select every brush inside another brush?

Hello!

Is it possible to draw a brush and use that as a “grab tool”?
For exemple if I build something made up of…whatever…117 brushes or something… and would like to select them all, could I then in some way draw a brush around them and then tell GtkRadiant to select everything within that latest brush?

Thanks!

“Select touching” should do it. I believe its in the menu when you right click… select->touching or something like that.

Yes. Use the “Select Inside” option. It looks like to brushes shaped like an upside down L with a red box around them. Its on the second toolbar, and should be the 12th icon from the left. (I think) Its very easy to use, just make a brush that completely surrounds the brushes that you would like to select, then choose it. Voila! All brushes inside are now selected. Quite handy, actually.

Theres also, ‘select tall’, ‘select complete tall’ and ‘select touching’. But I have found ‘select inside’ to be the most productive.

select inside? Can you also do something like select top side to just for exemple select the top side of all triangles in a gensurf terrain…?
