Security Violation: Found a possible cause

(Erveon) #1

Hello,

Edit: after a few tries, I have not been able to directly reproduce the same kick, so this may not be worth reading.

I’m sure a lot of you are aware of the kicks due to security violations.
I think I may have figured out one of the causes.

My logic is based on how I personally would handle anti-cheat,
and what error the developers behind it may have overlooked.

(I may be completely wrong, but I’m just trying to help out)

When a person has reloaded, does not shoot a single bullet, and successfully reloads again,
that could possibly be a hack for some form of infinite ammo.

The thing is, this is possible in-game, and I have just encountered it.
When low on ammo, if you reloaded your magazine with the very last bit of your bullets before restocking,
after restocking on ammo, you are of course able to do another reload to fill your magazine.

Thus, successfully and legit reloading twice without shooting a single bullet.
Please let me know if my assumption is correct, or completely off,
in case I come across similar situations.

(Background information: I got kicked for a security violation right after the described event took place, making me conclude that that action was what caused it)

I hope this helped.

Kind regards,
Laekh

I’ve personally been noticing that I get kicked, the match after I get called hacker. (Let me reassure you: I don’t hack. I am simply a Cobalt 3 ranked player.) I suppose I get kicked after being reported by one of my enemies.

I might be completely incorrect, however I’ve been noticing this pattern…

That was my first match of the day. The same match, though, my team was absolutely dominating the battlefield, I was only in the middle of my team’s leaderboard though.

Thanks for the info!

From what I’ve heard, it’s simply a safety feature of NGS. When NGS crashes, instead of leaving you in the game and restarting the AC. It will kick you out of the game as a precaution. Just in case you were using a cheat/hack that shuts of the AC. So the only way to improve this would be to improve the NGS stability.

That would make sense, I’ve been trying to trace back my steps every time it has happened, but have never been able to replicate it.
