You guys I experience the same with Sawbones’s med packs! And I was wondering…why is it taking foreeeever to toss it… maybe they nerfed the time for dropping all deployables?

the mine deploy time is clearly slower

Yet fletcher is still untouched

Nup, Arty’s ammo packs are coming out as per normal.

Sawbonez packs are fine. No problems on my end.

Maybe that’s the cause:

Fixed bug where destroyed Proximity Mines could still play the ‘tripped’ audio when running over the location

They fixed that bug but something went wrong? :slight_smile: Maybe that really was unintended? :slight_smile:

Probably testing things out in the new build and either forgot to take it out or forgot to mention it. I’m assuming.

Everything is actually throwing slower, arty/proxy etc haven’t tried sawbonez/fletcher etc yet though.

Cant seem to plant sneaky mines consistently anymore they seem to get stuck in an elevated position half the time now.

If it’s not in the patch notes, consider it as a bug.

Calling for stealth nerf is the silliest thing ever. A dev team perfectly knows that if something gets changed in a bad way, players will always notice it. They have no reason to piss off their community like that. Their goal is to keep their community, not to lose it.

I bet it just ended up as a bug. They were probably just testing a way to prevent dropping double mines.
I’m sure many are familiar with that bug.

My mines are carrying momentum fine, but there’s a huge delay when throwing them as I said in another thread.

My ping is only 38ms. They are throwing like my ping is 500ms.

i think they may have fucked something up when they tried to smooth out stuttering. probably a bug, ive noticed this off and on

Yeah it might be a bug but I can’t double toss ammo packs anymore. I used to be able to toss them all at once… Then only two …now I can only just do one at a time. I hope it’s just bugs and they get reverted but I am doubtful, I mean we got a nerf to jump sniping for the reason that “it was annoying to play against” who’s to say someone at SD deemed Proxy mines annoying to play against :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: yeah I know the multiple ammo toss was considered a bug, I just miss it :frowning:

yep they nerfed the mines, no more momentum when tossing the mines.

literally everything I play in this game gets nerfed… sparks, proxy, fragger (back when he had 2 frags) and vassili

Should I switch over to fletcher so they nerf him too?

Hmmmm so it’s not just me that’s noticed that. I thought it was lag or whatever. However this was happening weeks before the current patch rollout.

totally agree. I can feel the difference, especially on sawbones…

Glad this was quickly confirmed to be a bug. A little curious how no one noticed it in internal testing but oh well. More reason for a selective testing group perhaps???
