Season Ladder

So I was wondering, with this game becoming more and more competitive, would it be cool to have a season ladder? Like football leagues ect. I think it would be cool to have more regular matches and a kind of table with scores and at the end of the season the top 4 teams play off maybe. It’s just an idea I saw in the competitive events thread. We could have pools even of teams from different areas. I know there might be problems with funding and regulating, monitoring and all that jazz but a man can dream.
Realistic dream just depends on how soon i think.

There already is an external competition/ladder set up; the IML (International Mercenary League) on Cybergames. Afaik they are also kinda supported by Splash Damage… to be precise Splash Damage is even competing in that competition!

They havent started the competition yet, but already played a showmatch (last thursday). They say that they will try to stream the games on their twitch channel
