SDK?

I think it would be a really good idea to let the community get involved with this game when it becomes f2p.

Let us create maps, skins, and models on steam workshop like tf2, CS, and others.

You’re using the wrong acronym. That’s Source Development Kit lol.
Also why wouldn’t anyone vote to allow the community to get involved lol.

This. As far as I know DB is made with unreal engine 3. :stuck_out_tongue:

But that would be very welcomed. Every good game needs a community that work on stuff for the game in addition to our classic and beloved dev team. TF2’s player base counts a lot of mappers and modders, why not DB ?

community made maps will be absolutely essential to longevity of DB

Exactly look at WaW nazi zombies is still really popular even being 7 years old. To be honest all the thousands of maps that have been made, most are better then the actuall treyarch ones. Some were so good they actually hired the modders to make maps for black-ops.

Is this poll really necessary?

Do it like CSGO/DOTA

Or like Unreal Engine 4: we can make anything and put on marketplace but SD gets dividends/percentage of sale.

SDK = Software Development Kit
Dirty Bomb uses UE3 therefore UDK (free) is used

(RuleofBooKz) #9

just so long as its not pay to play

Maps esp - like how if u have a certain map pack that you bought u can play but if u dont u cant - that stuff breaks up the community

Actually you are quite wrong it stands for Software Development Kit and was used long before source games existed.
