[SD], Region-locking casual matchmaking will kill the game in certain countries! Please fix!

Right now, matchmaking is useless at late night for anyone in south america (and i imagine quite a lot of other less popular regions as well), sending players to EMPTY ROOMS!! Can we please have the option to choose our region? Not to mention that all objective servers are pretty much gone from the server browser.

This is how many online games die. There’s a lot of reasons why every single popular esport (dota, league, cs:go, starcraft, etc) allows you to pick your region. Hell, the reason i started playing in the first place was because i could pick a 90~110 ping US server at any time of the day and find a decent match. Besides, the skill level of SA servers is much lower, and matches are much less interesting as a result.

But the way it stands, the game is pretty much unplayable for me and many others, people that only have free time during late night, unless i want to only play stopwatch 7v7s through server browser. Which i don’t.

Players already have the option of doing low ping, balanced matches through ranked. Don’t ruin casual for a huge portion of your playerbase, SD!

They already patched empty-room “bug”. Have you tried? This is new update, many players came back to the game, many new players started. The number of server is limited maybe you were just unlucky.

As of the server browser and OBJ mode oriented servers - we will have rental server option soon, I think community will be very creative on that one and you will get more servers through browser in your region.

That was a bug with USA servers, unfortunately. Low population regions still get sent to empty servers during late night hours, simply because they’re region locked (which means matchmaking cannot possibly send you to another region).

Can’t wait for server rental. But the previous system worked fine. All we needed was a way to get into a server with friends, nothing more. And now, me and everyone i know that plays the game in my entire continent cannot play objective mode at late night.
