@Diego
I’l check what extra detail i can add to the vehicle, perhaps some fuel tanks or exhaust.

@Avoc
Do you perhaps have Blender? would be easier for you to see the resault.
Edit:Avoc, you got mail.

Oh well, i sent you a pm
you should have it by now.
Btw, you could give blender a change one day, it’s easy
Its interesting. I decided to take a peak at the skin and was surprised to see a pretty good skin. The flats look a lot better than on the model. I think the bolts need to be larger and fewer of them might help them stand out more. I’ll have to look into the vehicle more to make some more suggestions.
Thanks alpha red
There is not many bolts on it, except on the body. But i’l look how it would look with less bolts
yea, less but bigger bolts, maybe some scrapes/bullet hits for realism? Are you still doing it in green? Lookin’ good.
Thanks S14Y3R
Hmm, alright i’l do them smaller and add some small bullet hits
No, i dropped the green texture for now, it is not good enough.
Finished the texture.
I noticed that the “vents” of the model stick out of the main vehicle. Wouldn’t it make more sense if they were sticking into the main hull?
Right now the vents look something like this:

I would suggest that you made them like this:

You will see that I have retextured the vents a bit, and I belive that if you make the changes to the vents and make them poke inside the hull, the vent part will be perfect.
Anyways, here is the texture. Sorry that it took so long, but I had other things to attend to ^^’

Wau. You made the texture look alot more older and worn, like it should. Now it feels like it has been in the battelfield for 3 straight years, with the African conditions.
Here are some fast results to show you how it would look.

I realy like the new vents and the shadows under plates and other detail.
Good work
Would you be so kind to share your secret with us? I’d like to test them out for the next upcoming vehicle after this.
( I am guessing you used grunge brushes, hue/saturation and sharpen filters. But i might be wrong too.
)
About those vents, i will change them like you suggsested, it’s a good idea.
Thanks for the time you put into this
Not really a secret =D
Lots of layers, lots of blending options. Bevel as Diego said. Used lots of dodging for the bullet scratches, blurred some of the parts so that it didnt all look “sharp”. Played around with some color options aswell.
Didnt use any photoshop filters, only brushing and layers. I used my own scratch brushes which I made some years ago.
Glad you like it =)
I’l give it a try, i am going to soon show the new vehicle. It’s yet again African but, it will be a suprise of what vehicle it is
One of my all time favorites.
African… when its done, I would very much like to see/have it for use in my African map I am building. Full credits as always, ofc.

Maybe today, maybe tommorow but it will be reveled soon
I just hope others feel the same love for that vehicle.
