Script_mover must have a model

(Mark.C) #1

I searced for this and got 931 results which isnt helpfull.

I found 2 which were interesting but the way they were worded did not make any sense.

Something about an origin brush on its own that has to be a scriptmover ??

Any help please ?

What?! Please rephrase that with the real error msg

If the thread’s title is what you have as an error then I guess your script mover is the problem. Or maybe your script_mover doesn’t have an origin brush…

I’m not sure I understand correctly.

If your script_mover is made out of brushwork only (and does not have a model), then you need to include an origin brush in the script_mover. If not you will get the ‘script_mover must have a modle’ error

ok, my script_mover is not a model it is all brushwork.

It does have an origin brush @ it’s centre, going through part of the brush.

Is the origin brush part of the script_mover?

If not, hit ESC a couple of times, select the origin brush FIRST then select one of the script_mover. Once you have those selected right-click in the 2D window and click on Move into Entity. That will move the origin into the script_mover.

I think that should fix it.

If not… well, maybe someone has an idea?
