screw you ATI!

my dad has parkinsons. i would rather have to suffer with ATI

Tech Help isn’t about your Nvidia hard-on. Your flood of fanboy rants makes it harder for people to find what they need regardless of their brand (I’m using Nvidia) since you keep showing up in the searches. Act your age, please.

(tokamak) #23

The game experience is ranging from annoying to unplayable for 32% of Brink’s playerbase. This is a huge problem for the community.

(Smoochy) #24

i assume you are talking to me since you are too stupid to use the quote button.

i think you will find i have been trying to find ATI help for a while now and i have helped a few with tech help.

of course i show up in searches. there are only about 20 people using the forum! <facepalm>

You assumed I was talking to you because it’s clear from what I said and you know what exactly you’ve been doing here and thus didn’t need a quote the lack of which obviously doesn’t reflect my intelligence. Nothing you said explains why you keep making useless posts that don’t belong in Tech Help in any way whatsoever. Most the help you’ve “done” is reposting others’ potential solutions and telling people to change their GPU. That’s not help, it’s stupidity. You can’t apply a personal experience to each and every case just because of the GPU brand, things tend to be a lot more complicated than that on PCs, as the people with Nvidia cards and yet more issues prove, as the people with ATI cards and few or no issues also prove.

And of course ATI doesn’t make a game of such little success (if you can even call it that) a priority for their driver fixes, it’s the developers who should strive to please all their own customers, few as they may be, in order to give a sense of good will and ensure support of their future products. I thought Quake Wars was a fluke but I guess this is just how they do business. Even as a minority the numbers of ATI owners are still substantial for such few total sales so it should have been their priority to provide good support. Many other games work fine on ATI cards, including id engine games, this has no reason to be broken even if ATI could in theory make up for SD’s problems with their own fixes had the game been more successful.

Again, grow up, for your sake and for those around you. I guess you won’t though. You’ve made clear what kind of a sad little person you are and it’s also clear your and other idiots’ rants have destroyed any chance this forum had to provide actual help to those who came for it so, so long, keep it up I guess, soon you’ll be alone again. If your rants are in attempts to give sales to your precious Nvidia you should probably know your delusional attitude is more likely to have the opposite effect. And don’t pretend to speak for all Nvidia owners. Some of us are sane, not blind fanboys who ignore facts and pretend their case is every case or that there was only one solution to the case and that solution should come directly from ATI rather than SD.

aww bless. i have helped people plenty on here with all kinds of advice. maybe you are such a bitter sad person you dont see that? if im such an nvidia fanboy how come i bought an ATI card? stop making yourself look like a fool. i thought ATI owe it to their customers to fix THEIR driver issues. how long should people wait for driver fixes? 3 months? a year? to me it sounds like you are an ATI fanboy in denial.

again, what have you contributed to the community? apart from hot air and throwing toys out of your cot?

Actually you can apply personal experience to each and every case (if it’s relevant to that case). I’m a PC/network/telcom tech and that’s how we troubleshoot. Please try to refrain from insulting my profession.

Anyway, taking a quick look at the six threads with the words “ATI” in the title on the front page of the Tech Help forums, Smoochy has only started one of them. It is obviously a major issue and Smoochy is just trying to pass along his personal experience of switching from ATI to nVidia.

You say you play Brink with a nVidia card, have you also played it with an ATI for comparison? If not you are just a troll looking to pick a fight with someone who has some actual advice to share based on, wait for it, personal experience.

What isn’t helpful is you spamming attacks in the tech help forum.
