SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE - OCTOBER 15TH, 2015

Dirty Bomb will be in maintenance at 14:00 UTC on October 15th, 2015, in order to perform a hotfix update. The maintenance is expected to last 4 hours.

When:
London (BST, UTC +1:00): 15:00 - 19:30
Los Angeles (PDT, UTC -7:00): 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Sydney (AEDT, UTC +10:00): 1:00 AM - 5:30 AM, October 16th

What:
Dirty Bomb will be brought down for a server maintenance.
Dirty Bomb servers and client will be updated with a hotfix update.
All game servers will be brought down. Matches in progress when the maintenance starts will be allowed to finish.

I didn’t get this info on stream, the hotfix is for what exactly? Respawning as other players, new trading?

@pxK Yep that spectator bug mainly. No news on the trade-in stuff yet.

Sees Scheduled Maintenance Thread on Recent Developer posts, starts getting excited. Follows link, sees October 15th, gets more excited still. Sees the word “Hotfix,” hopes and dreams shatter and returns to Borderlands Wiki and procrastination of actually studying. =(

Hey, at least they are fixing the spectator glitch. It’s annoying as hell and has costs us 3 games already.

Any details on the hotfix? I assume the long load fix is in there as it’s a pretty high-profile one, but anything else?

You should think about scheduling server maintenance. Because those server maintenance at the begining of populated hours in EU…

And by the way, think about regional restart during low pop hours, pretty much all the EU servers are crap 3 days after any update. That’s a recurrent problem I’ve noticed on all UE3 games. After 2 or 3 days, servers start to get laggy, give lag spikes to all the connected clients. And a simple restart solves this.

Update is live since 15:02 UTC and its 795.9 MB big.
The game is 7.99 MB bigger than previous build.
