Scheduled Hotfix Changes - July 14th, 2016

Hey all!

The following changes were made during the July 14th maintenance:

Server Changes
To help in keeping similarly skilled players together in the time between now and the launch of Casual Matchmaking, we’ve decided to alter the way our servers are set up:

[LIST][]Max Level 5 Servers are being changed to Max Level 6, and are now 7v7 only
[]This increases the likelihood that players who have not yet unlocked Ranked Mode will be in their own pool
[]Unrestricted Servers are now all 7v7 or 8v8
[]All Min-Level 10/20 servers remain 6v6 Only
[*]This increases the likelihood of joining a Min-Level 10 or 20 server when using Quick Join for 6v6[/LIST]

Quick Join Unlock Changes
Alongside these server changes, we’ve also updated the Quick Join option to unlock features at these levels:

[LIST][]Unlocking the Max Player 7v7 and 8v8 options at Level 7
[]Unlocking the Max Player 6v6 option at Level 10[/LIST]

Oh god yes!!!
I really can’t stand 5vs5 and 6vs6, too quiet for me. I just love the chaos 8vs8 provide.

Still no changes to the crafting system?
After all the complaining on the forums you should’ve done something about it the day after it was released so I was expecting there to be changes now. When are you gonna change it?

Am I the only one who abhors 7v7’s and 8v8’s? They feel too chaotic and unbalanced especially due to the size and structure of the maps.

I just want 5v5’s back, which the maps play best on.

How many Min lvl 10 and min lvl 20 servers are there ? I had some trouble finding places on those servers lastly (EU area)

[/quote]Dirty Bomb can never be balanced when a map is the same for 5v5 comp and 8v8 pub, and increasing the number of players only favors Defenders.

Nah 5v5 should be Ranked exclusive, pub is much better with 6v6 or 7v7, 8v8 is just too much for small maps.

Well defenders by default should already have a small advantage. (Home field advantage)

It’s just having 8 players on each team is going to be more TDM than it is objective focused because most of the time players are going to be focused killing each other.

I can’t believe 6vs6 casual is gone…

I guess that the levels are representative of time played, so as the game progresses into it’s lifecycle then everyone will eventually level up, but as of right now, my friends are still sub 10 and it sucks having to use 7vs7 servers, which honestly is far too chaotic and defender sided imo.

Yesterday evening, most active EU servers were full. It was hard to join one. And when I did, 3 people on my team using snipers on attack on chapel, or 2 snipers and 4 proxies on underground defense and terminal the same. Didnt listen when asking them to switch, couldnt kick them so had to quit the game, because I would rage so much that I would probably throw out my laptop.

8vs8 can be slightly too chaotic at times but 7v7 is fine in my opinion.

6v6 is the best choice for this maps…all other is bull,

8 min10 servers for each mode in EU.
Either the servers are full all the time or not enough populated.
min20 servers still with ff off.
7vs7+ servers are bullcrap.
