Sawbonez Medpacks

While Sawbonez is a pretty good merc who does what he is supposed to do quite well I was wondering how you guys feel about his medpacks? Ive timed the healing at roughly 10 seconds from very low hp (10-20) to full on his own hp pool.

The healing is ok. its pretty well balanced but what i sort of dislike is the pickup radius of the packs. Sometimes I toss a medpack at someone who needs it and it lands just behind them and they dont recieve it. Or someone tries to pick one up and stands staring at it to make sure they end up right ontop of it.

Maby it is just me seeing things that arnt really there or maby you guys have experienced the same thing?

his self-regen rate is pretty low, and completely unfair in comparison to aura who goes to full hp instantly. Its clear the devs want to avoid the rambo-medic mentality, but 1-2 more points on self-heal would be welcome imo.

As far as his medpacks: they are fine - ability to throw them quite far is really nice, and you can decide who gets which one by aiming. Would love the HP bonus from direct hits to be boosted just a tad to provide some interesting mid-fight capability. Once people know the game better they will be running at you to get them HP, and not the other way around

I find Sawbones fun as is, Pheonix’ Healing pulse needs a faster recharge rate and Sparks’ is fine, the only issue I see is Aura simply dropping a station to survive a one on one fight against everything.

You make a good point, Szakalot, about aiming the medpacks. It would perhaps be a bad idea to remove it.
